How To Wash Your Laundry

01.

Gently open the door

Have a quick look inside the drum to make sure there is no residue or substance from the previous user’s wash.

02.

Add Detergent

Put your powder or tablet into the bottom of the drum. Do not use fabric conditioner as this can cause damage to your clothes with direct contact.

03.

Load the machine

Add all your washing, but be careful not to under- or over-load. Fill to around 75% for the best wash quality.

04.

Close the Door

Without pushing too hard or slamming, make sure the door is fully closed. If it isn’t, your wash will not start.

05.

Make your payment

Depending on the launderette you are using, different payment options are available. Please note that some machines will automatically start once payment is made and you select a programme.

You have four options for payment, either insert coins, insert card, scan your top-up card or use our mobile app.

06.

Select wash cycle

Choose the right cycle for the type of wash you need. For example, heavy items like jumpers or towels will need a spin cycle, and delicates may need shorter cycles and/or lower temperatures with no need for a spin.

07.

Press start

Some machines will start as soon as you have paid and selected your programme. If they don’t, please press ‘start’ to begin.

08.

Unload your washing

Once your programme has finished, please remove your washing quickly so the next person can use the machine. Please do not force the door as it may stay locked for a short time until all water is drained or the drum has cooled fully.
